My journey at St. Joseph’s International School has been truly wonderful and has taught me so much, both inside and outside the classroom. The school instilled in me the values of discipline, confidence, and responsibility from the fear of being called out in assembly for not being dressed properly to learning the importance of being punctual and well-presented. Beyond academics, St. Joseph’s gave me countless opportunities to explore and grow, from participating in MUNs to being a part of the Student Council as the Activity Captain.One of the most special parts of my school journey was the friendships I made along the way. Many of those friendships are still a part of my life today, and I continue to cherish the bonds and memories we created together. I genuinely miss the Christmas carnivals, the excitement, laughter, and the little moments that made school life so memorable. I will also always remember teachers like Sonali Ma’am and Satbir Sir, whose fun and engaging English lectures, constant support, and valuable lessons made such an impact on me. Looking back, St. Joseph’s was not just a school for me; it was a place that shaped my personality, gave me lifelong friendships, countless memories, and opportunities that helped me grow into the person I am today. I will always be grateful for the wonderful journey.

I joined St. Joseph’s International School in 2015, the very first year the school opened, when I was in Grade 6. I was also new to the city, so in many ways, it felt like a completely new beginning for me. Over the years, I was actively involved in both academics and co-curricular activities. Sports was never really my forte, but I still enjoyed playing and watching them with my friends. I was also fortunate to be a part of the Student Council for three years, from 2018 to 2020. Being a part of the APJ Abdul Kalam House and representing it was a very integral and exciting part of my school life. The inter-house competitions, the preparation, the friendly rivalry and simply being part of a team are still some of my favourite memories from school. I also had the opportunity to represent the school at various events, including MUNs, Hindi debates, GK quizzes, CMS inter-school competitions and many others. The school had some of the best facilities in the city, but I think what stood out even more was the exposure it provided. Academics was always important and the school paid a lot of attention to it, but what I really appreciated was the encouragement to look beyond the classroom and actively seek out opportunities. SJIS gave me a stage to participate, explore different interests and put myself out there. Looking back, a lot of my confidence to try new things and take up opportunities came from those years, and that is something I will always carry with me.

My tenure with sjis was incredibly unforgettable, made best memories of connection and the time I had is so wholesome. We were always guided by estimated teachers and they guide us like their own children. School time memoried is always unfortunatable

Some places are more than just buildings and St. Joseph’s will always be one of those places for me It was where I grew up, made some of my closest friends, had countless little adventures, and created memories that I didn’t realise would become so precious with time Looking back now, I realise how beautiful those carefree years really were A part of who I am today will always belong to the little boy who walked through those school gates every day Truly grateful to St. Joseph’s for giving me those years, those friendships and memories that I will carry with me forever.
